Massage...
I bring to the Mobile Dog Pet Care Services (CN Roberts Canine Massage Services) a lifelong love of animals along with the personality and experience to meet and exceed client (animal and human!) expectations. My passion for animals and the positive results that massage has had on my dogs and cats directed me to the Northwest School of Animal Massage where I completed my certification as a Small Animal Massage Practitioner in January 2010.
I offer massage services to dogs of all sizes, ages and activity levels and will also massage cats as requested.
Breeding, showing, and grooming...
I have lived with dogs and cats most of my life and have worked with dogs, primarily Cairn Terriers, for over 18 years. Breeding under the Toonees prefix, I have trained and showed several dogs to their Canadian Championships in conformation and have become an accomplished groomer specializing in hand-stripping Cairns and other wire coated terrier breeds. I also offer terrier hand-stripping services at my studio in Parksville.

I am an avid participant in ‘Earthdog’ activities with my Cairns, Secretary/Treasurer for the Sea to Sky Earthdog Club of Southwest BC and a CKC Earthdog judge. I work with a group of earthdog folks on Vancouver Island offering training for terriers and dachshunds. Additional Training...
In 2004 I completed the DogSmart Training Systems Apprentice Program, Level 2 in Vancouver which I took to improve my communication and training skills with dogs and their owners. In August 2009 I completed the Canine First Aid Part 2 certification through DOGSAFE™ Canine First Aid . Your dog’s safety and welfare will always be well taken care of!
Service Area...
Based in Parksville, my service area is Qualicum Beach to Nanaimo (there is a mileage fee for Nanaimo bookings). Travel outside of this area will be scheduled as available, at an additional fee. For those who would prefer to bring their pet to me, call or email me regarding the opening of my massage studio in Parksville, scheduled for September 2011.
